The Village hall offers a perfect venue for all social activities, clubs, wedding reception, Christening receptions, parties and conferences. Modernised in 2003, it contains disabled facilities such as ramps, handrails, toilets and a modern, well equipped kitchen.

In 2004, a raised stage was installed boxed in with bleached white canvas. Lights can be controlled via a dimmer at the rear of the hall or from backstage. Plum Velour stage curtains complete this new facility funded by an "Awards For All" Lottery grant. An Entertainment licence was obtained on 21st Sept 2004 allowing a closely seated audience of 96 persons, dancing 104 persons and for functions utilising seating at tables, 136 persons.

VILLAGE HALL NEWS.

The plan (pdf) is the basis of a planning application recently made by the committee for a new storeroom.

The attached photos were take on 1st August ---all the new windows and doors are fitted .

The messy jobs started on Monday 3rd August----strengthening the roof trusses ,putting a new roof on top and fitting 4 vent-axia fans.

All the electric wiring will be tested starting 24th August .

The Decorator will start on Monday 31st ;sand floor +1st coat varnish. The second coat to go on (I hope ) Wednesday 2nd Sept.
