In 2004, a raised stage was installed boxed in with
bleached white canvas. Lights can be controlled via
a dimmer at the rear of the hall or from backstage.
Plum Velour stage curtains complete this new
facility funded by an
"Awards For All" Lottery grant. An Entertainment licence was
obtained on 21st Sept 2004 allowing a closely seated
audience of 96 persons, dancing 104 persons and for
functions utilising seating at tables, 136 persons.

The Village Hall Committee will
ensure that charges are extremely reasonable and they intend to
continue this policy in order to encourage the hall to be used. The
committee also recognises that regular village fund raising events
will continue to be necessary in order to balance the books.
