| June 2008 - Thank You!
I would just like to say how much my
husband and my four legged family enjoyed the Dibley pet
Service on Sunday. It was a lovely idea and thank you to
everyone who helped organise it. It was so nice to be able
to appreciate our loyal companions for a change. |

Church Minshull Table Tennis Club Latest The Friday night table tennis and social club in the village hall goes from strength to strength! We now have a good core of members who enjoy the exercise, improving their skills and the odd glass of wine. Two new club tables are always full throughout the 2 hours that the club is open 7.30 - 9.30 pm and we recently had a coaching DVD which went through the basics of the sport, together with more advanced techniques, which was well received. Since starting the club, we have noticed the improvement from "ping pong" to the really good standard of table tennis being played by all, both in singles but especially doubles which always leads to a hard contest! Link to the latest Table Tennis Club Info Club Night Calendar Paddles and balls are provided, as well as advice and coaching if required. Refreshments are always available and charges are £3 per player, £1 per non player. Any one interested in joining the club contact Guy on 01270 522814. We will be holding social activities throughout the year which all members are invited, the latest being the Xmas party which was extremely well received by all. Below are a couple of pictures of the night. Pictures of the night!
History Of Church Minshull This is the final book in the Frank Latham Cheshire Villages series, all compiled with the assistance of local history groups. To order your copy please complete the order form Local Websites We draw your attention to the latest addition in our collection of local links to websites www.theoutlanes.com. We understand Robert has constructed this site himself - well done! We particularly like his list of links to the websites of local attractions within a few miles of Church Minshull - they are well worth a browse. The large scale map of the public footpaths around the village is worth a look when deciding where to go for your morning constitutional! Also we thank the webmaster of Cuddington village for adding our link and we urge people to take a look at their site www.cuddingtonsandiway.co.uk Other useful local websites can be found here
